The Ancestors: The deities of the people of Ong. The Ongish people believe that every person who lived and died is a part of the Ancestors. They are believed to choose the tool that is manifested with every use of the omni-tool. They are also believed to habitate with you in any space on Ong.
The Arclight, Ancestor Cathedral: This is the main cathedral in Ikkara known throughout Ong for the column of light it shot into the sky, through the hands of giant statues of Ancestors.
Carmanium lily: A fragrant flower only found on Ong.
Confat: A swear word used on Ong. Roughly translated, the dung of farm animals that smells more than others.
Dronka Troda: A Tronka girl, 19 years old at the time of E01: Tesselation. Dronka is strong minded and brutally honest, and is one of Krys’ best friends.
Eine Evergale: Krys’ mother. Scientist, member of the Order of the Sciences and the Luminary council. She has red hair and hazel eyes.
Epimofosis: A cute animal native to Ong.
Epsi artum vi: “Innocence before guilt in the absence of facts.” An ancient Ong phrase and the pillar of their justice system.
Esplanade Farense: A town square in Ikkara, Ong. It is a two story sunken square with walls of shops and a stepped down theatre for entertainers to perform theatre-in-the-round.
Fil Limios: Director and chief minister of the Arclight Cathedral, and member of the Luminary council.
Frag-o: A swear word used on Ong.
Ghie Elescent: A Luminary on the Ikkara council and head of the Ikkara Knowledgarium. A soft spoken but strong Ouix.
The Great Schism: The historical event leading to the loss of fuel for interstellar travel that divided the galaxy and stranded cultures on their planets. The Great Schism was 6127 years before the events of E01 – Tesselation.
Healing sanctuary: The term on Ong meaning hospital.
Holo-camera: A device that capture video around it in full 3D on holo-film.
Holo-film: 3D recordings and graphics usually created to record events or pass on knowledge.
Holo-game: A virtual game played by groups of 2 or more.
Holo-pods: Clamshell like small rooms used to view holofilm. Holopods are mostly found in the Knowlegarium, where there are hundreds connected to near infinite amounts of holofilm from the the stores of knowledge.
Ikkara: The capital city of Ong, and the home of the Evergales.
Kay Evergale: Krys’ father. Community organizer.
Knowledgarium: Similar to a library, this is where the people of Ong went to study. All knowledge was shown through holo-pods.
Knowledge journey: Schooling on Ong. This is a process that all people work through starting from age 4 and ending between 19 and 22. The process starts with large class sizes which slowly get smaller with specialization, until the student is doing self study in their late teens.
Krion: The fuel used for faster-than-light travel before The Great Schism.
Krys Evergale: Our protagonist. 19 years old at the time of E01: Tesselation.
Luminary: A person of great status and accomplishment on Ong who is tasked, along with 14 others, to govern the local area. A position that is like a combination of a judge and city councillor on present Eath. Krys’ mom is a luminary for Ikkara.
Luminary Great Assembly: The hall where the Luminaries assemble and where the local area if governed.
Luminary Watcher: <Spoilers for E01-Tesselation> One of the 15 Luminaries who watch over the simulation of Ikkara as artificial intelligences.
Meniér Galaxy: One of the two galaxies colliding together to create the Meniér-Appoto galaxy cluster. Ong is located in the bottom left of the Meniér galaxy.
Mirolité Honas: student of religion and humanities, and page to the Luminary Fil Limios. 19 years old at the time of E01: Tesselation.
Nalferion crystal: The crystal that makes the omni-tool work.
Octarium: A war monger culture that cause The Great Schism by detonating the dark nebula that supplied the fuel for faster-than-light travel thousands of years ago.
Omni-tool: A tool used by the people of Ong for various tasks and rarely combat. Using charged particles, it can manifest any tool needed. But the tool choice is not up to the user; the Ong people believe it is chosen by the Ancestors. But if you swing it at a nail, you will almost always manifest a hammer. The omni-tool can only manifest tools if the action is acceptable to the divine Ancestors, and only sparks and a fizzle noise come out if it is not.
Ong: The home planet of Krys Evergale and the setting for E01: Tesselation. Ong is located in the bottom left of the Meniér galaxy. Before The Great Schism, Ong was the spiritual and moral center of the galaxy. Its philosophy, morals and values were the basis for most of the cultures of the planets of the Republic of United Planets. Ong is located in the bottom left of the Meniér galaxy. Ong has always been principally occupied by 3 species in equal number: Ouix, humans and Tronka.
The Orders of the Sciences: The department of science for the Ong government during their time in the satellite.
Ouix: One of the 3 species of Ong. Ouix are tall and dainty, towering over the Humans and the Tronka on Ong, but they are the lightest. They have no joints, but they contort their bodies to the posture of a Human or a Tronka on Ong so they can fit in and where traditional clothing styles. Their skin is a pearlescent, milky white.
Own Evergale: The brother of Krys on Ong. He is 7 years younger than Krys; 12 at the time of Tesselation. He has straight, brown hair short at the back but long on top, pushed across his head and down his face.
Templites: The culture inhabiting the planet of Madena. The Templites followed the teachings of Ong, but had their own army. Their army was the last stand in the events of The Great Schism.
Trayna Iree: A luminary and the head of the Ikkara Board of Healers. A very knowledgeable human, she is known for her signature hood and ruby red lips.
Tronka: One of the 3 species of Ong. Tronka are big, strong and stout. They are a foot taller than humans by 2.5 times wider. They have trunks instead of noses and grey dry skin.
Whia White: An Ouik female girl, 19 years old at the time of E01: Tesselation. This is one of Krys’ best friends.
Yomza: A card game played on Ong.
